To the sound of poet Ro'Bin White-Morton you will find her signature piece "I'm Just A Woman" accompanied and produce at DuBat Production, by the late Milton Batiste, Jr. manager of Dejean's Olympia Brass Band. The cd begans with none other than a tribute to her heritage entilted "Mother Africa" and lands on cut number fourteen "She's A Red Hot Pepper". "Mother Africa" presents the question, "Mother Do You Remember ME?" This chant Morton beleives is the missing link she has been seaching for in discovering her roots. She is very positive about her heritage and considers it a serious journey.
She also knows what it means to miss the beauty of New Orleans. And continues on to give poetic justice to her birth place New Orleans the home of jazz in the piece "Good Morning New Olreans". This collage is filled with the consistincey of her romantic writings as displayed in her previous work. She moves on a little closer to home to share the goody, goody, of a "Mississippi Woman" as spoken on track number six. To the likes of "They tell me a Mississippi woman will take your man. A Mississippi woman understands. It's not his belly she fills up. A Mississippi woman soothes his cuts... In this compliation she whispers love notes for the listener allowing them a touch of , "Southern Love."
